Job Summary **Job Summary** This position exists to ensure that students, employees and the St. Cloud State University community have the functional technology systems, tools and resources necessary to complete the mission of the institution. This position provides critical support to a variety of events and meetings within Atwood Center and select remote locations. The role specializes in audio/visual and office productivity technological systems while leading a group of students to ensure successful support of events. This position helps the ITS department and Atwood Center accomplish its mission through understanding of business needs and delivery of key technological services. As a key liaison between the ITS department and Atwood Center/Student Services Division this position ensures business relationships exist and align with new and emerging technologies. This position provides relationship management and foundational business analysis in order to align the operations, services, and projects of Information Technology Services (ITS) to the customers' needs and priorities. Qualifications **Minimum Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, information technology, or related field, plus 3 years of related experience; or combination of education and related experience * A thorough knowledge of computer operational procedures and networking on Mac and Windows systems). * 2 years of experience with audio/visual systems * A basic knowledge of wiring technology related to infrastructure. * Strong written communication skills sufficient to write, prepare, and edit materials such as memos, procedures, reports, presentations, etc., using correct spelling, punctuation, grammar, and sentence construction and clearly explaining complex technical ideas and procedures to varied technical and nontechnical audiences * Strong verbal communication skills sufficient to participate in discussions and communicate technical ideas and procedures to technical and non-technical staff and managers and present recommendations and reports to senior managers * Customer services skills sufficient to actively listen to and understand customer needs and provide accurate information and appropriate alternatives in a timely, thorough, courteous, respectful, and professional manner in person, over the phone and in writing. * Project management skills sufficient to manage multiple projects simultaneously, create clear and attainable project objectives, build project requirements, oversee the cost, time and scope of projects, manage project constraints, and communicate progress and end results. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working within Higher Education * Experience working with Minnesota State and State of MN Information Systems (ISRS, etc.) * Knowledge of wiring technology related to infrastructure. * ITIL certification * CRM or BRM certification **Additional Requirements** In accordance with the Minnesota State Colleges & Universities (MnSCU) Vehicle Fleet Safety Program, employees driving on college/university business who use a rental or state vehicle shall be required to conform to MnSCU's vehicle use criteria and consent to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
