Visit interstates.com/connect Responsibilities - Tests, calibrates, repairs, and modifies electrical and control and instrumentation systems for plant production/process equipment. - Troubleshoot, repair PLC hardware panels including wiring, power supplies - Coordinate with plant operators to schedule outages when required for electrical and instrumentation repair/calibration Qualifications - Qualifications/Must Haves: - Strong level of experience working with low-voltage transmitters (4-20 miliamp), control loops, valves and valve controllers, motor controllers and electrical systems - Ability to read schematics, technical drawings and manuals to isolate faults and repair equipment. - Display superior understanding of safety - Great communication skills Education/Experience: - Certificate or Associates in Instrumentation or similar preferred but not required - One year or more of service or maintenance experience preferred Location and Travel: This position will require travel throughout the Central MN Region (typically within 200 miles of the office). Applicants must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Per Diem and mileage stipends applicable per company policy.
