Human Resources Specialist – Bilingual Paynesville, MN $19-25/hour Our Paynesville, MN manufacturing client is looking to hire a Bilingual Human Resources Specialist. The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for supporting most aspects of the human resources function, as well as timekeeping and payroll function support. This role must be fluent in English and Spanish languages as they will serve as a key bilingual English & Spanish interpreter to help serve the organization’s workforce and prospective applicants. The Human Resources Specialist will also provide human resources and payroll administrative support, and some limited administrative support for plant operations. Job Qualifications: · Functions as a bilingual interpreter for English to Spanish and vice versa communication needs of employees and leaders on a daily basis. · Handles limited English to Spanish and Spanish to English written translation needs. · Conducts broad-scope recruitment and sourcing duties for various hourly positions. · Plays a key role in the accurate setup and maintenance of employees and employment data into the main payroll and HR systems, and other benefits platforms. · Conducts employee new hire orientations as needed. · Understands company benefits and available leave programs and can help to provide guidance to the workforce as needed. · Supports annual open enrollment efforts for benefits. · Understands company-wide HR/employment/organizational policies and can clearly communicate interpretation to employees and leadership. · Helps to maintain human resources employment files and other HR documentation. · 1Completes various verifications of employment and assists with other frequent information and data requests. · May provide various support of safety and worker’s compensation programs. · Supports company event planning, employee recognition efforts, and community immersion efforts for the organization. · May conduct group basic Spanish & English language training courses to employees. · Performs a variety of human resources administrative functions, as well as some additional ongoing administrative functions for plant operations such as ordering of uniforms, coordination and ordering of food for company events, and corporate directory maintenance. Requirements EDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE REQUIRED: Associates in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a closely related field. Must be Bilingual in both English and Spanish speaking and written communication. 1+ years of human resources experience is preferred
