Cretex Companies has an opening for a Human Resources Generalist at our Corporate office in Elk River, MN . The HR Generalist will be responsible for contributing to the company's performance by implementing and managing the HRIS systems, supporting the benefits and compensation processes, and providing support to the operating companies recruitment and marketing efforts. Essential Job Functions - Build strong and trusting relationships with company business leaders and human resources teams - Lead HR projects and initiatives - Lead and administer policies and procedures that support the company philosophy, culture, and strategic goals - Manage all HRIS systems: applicant tracking, learning management, survey tools, and ADP Vantage - Partner with site HR to proactively define workforce needs and key roles, implement tactical and strategic plans to meet business goals - Participate in the compensation planning process - Assist with recruiting efforts by creating recruiting campaigns, maintain the ATS, participate in job fairs, conduct interviews, and engage with the applicant through the onboarding process Manage multiple staffing vendors and contracts Partner with our benefits broker to implement wellbeing, benefit and compensation programs Provide metrics to business leaders May support and/or lead the workplace committee teams to include wellness and people and culture Identify and lead process improvement initiatives Create and follow the leader standard work for the HR Generalist role Minimum Requirements, Education & Experience (incl. KSA's and certifications) - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or an active HR certification through SHRM (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) - 5 years of HR experience in HR - 3 years of experience managing HRIS systems Experience recruiting entry level to management level positions in a manufacturing environment Knowledge of state, local, and federal employment laws, and regulations Excellent communication skills Focused problem-solving skills, analytical and system thinking ability; demonstrated through previous experience Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills Attention to detail - Organizational skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment - Ability to prioritize and multitask Desirable Criteria & Qualifications Manufacturing experience Experience with lean tools Continuing Education; including participation in local chapters, associations, and/or organizations Applicants will receive consideration for employment regardless of their race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, disability, age, veteran status, marital status, family status, status with regard to public assistance, or any other protected status as required by law.
