Visit us at and check out our YouTube Channel Summary The Human Resources Manager is responsible for providing Human Resources support through relationships with management and employees while providing direction and guidance to multiple plant locations. As a trusted and confidential advisor, the Human Resources Manager will manage the delivery of Human Resources on matters in relation to employee relations, performance management, training, talent management, legal compliance and organizational development. Responsibilities - Closely partners with organizational leadership on a broad range of HR services, providing coaching and consultation that contributes to the client strategy and business goals - Leverage HR / business skills and knowledge to challenge or influence leadership in decision-making processes and acts a change agent in the business to maximize all aspects of people performance. - Helps identify process improvements to gain efficiencies and accuracy - Identifies the need for and facilitates learning and development opportunities. - Provides input on new and revised policies, programs, and procedures for employees and provides advice and recommendations to business unit management. - Resolves complex and broad employee relations problems or issues related to traditional employee relations matters with a focus on the employee experience and a positive business outcome; collaborates with Legal and business unit leadership as necessary. - Oversees execution of human resources policies, programs and implementation for all responsible locations. Administers drug and alcohol program. - Ensures positive employee relations by addressing questions and researching issues related to total rewards, employment law and other areas, in a timely manner and communicating the information back to employees. - Accountable to ensure employee information such as personnel records and HRIS are up to date and accurate. - Conduct new hire employee orientations and employee training programs. - Manage the full recruitment process to include onboarding and off boarding. - Manage the leave of absence process to ensure employees are progressing with the goal of returning to work as planned. - Facilitates employee investigations. - Develops and sets employee communication strategy. - Manage the administration of compensation programs and leads implementation of the performance management program that includes performance development plans and employee development plans. - Ensure compliance with policies related to local, state and/or federal regulations. Keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that could impact the organization. - Manage special projects and other related duties as required. - May manage direct reports. Education/Experience - Bachelor’s degree or experience in lieu of education. - Five or more years of progressive Human Resources experience including employee relations, training, recruiting benefits, organizational development and compensation. - PHR or SPHR certification preferred. - Strong project management, organization, strategic and analytical skills. - Experience in working within fast paced, complex, dynamic business environment. - Demonstrated ability to serve as a knowledgeable resource to the leadership team. - People oriented and results driven. - Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company. - In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices. - Demonstrate ability to work with a wide range of sensitive and confidential information. - Strong skills in using MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
