Position: HR Coordinator Job Summary: Reporting to the Human Resources Generalist/Supervisor, the Human Resources Coordinator performs the sourcing, recruitment, screening & onboarding of candidates to staff the talent needs of the organization. Responsibilities may also include, but are not limited to, handling of employee records such as filing and electronic maintenance within the Human Resources Information System, employee relations, communications and other tasks or projects as needed to support the Human Resources function for our Cold Spring, Minnesota manufacturing location while adhering to corporate HR policies, programs & procedures. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Source, recruit and interview applicants. - Screen & onboard selected candidates. - Lead New Hire Orientation meetings. - Schedule and attend career fairs to generate qualified candidates. - Provide company information and job opportunities to potential candidates. - Partner with employment agencies to fill positions based on the needs of the organization. - Submit weekly temp employee hours; generate weekly hours reports; invoice approval. - Adhere to applicable budgets. - Track, monitor & report on progress of recruitment efforts to budgeted headcount. - Coordinate, maintain, and generate Human Resources related files and records, maintaining both hard and digital copies. - Input, process and/or maintain information for new hires ensuring timely completion of all documentation. - Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries/requests as needed or re-direct to appropriate person on the team. - Distribute documentation such as status forms for employee information changes to title, status, pay, department, address, etc. - Respond to internal and/or external HR related inquiries/requests as needed or re-direct to appropriate person on the team. - Other duties may be assigned Education/Experience Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and minimum of 1-3 years’ experience or combination of education and experience in similar HR role within a manufacturing environment. - Ability to comprehend policies as they apply internally as well as relative to labor laws - Professional, team player with a positive attitude & proactive mindset - Strong understanding & compliance with handling confidential information - Strong interpersonal & customer service skills - Strong communication skills & attention to detail We offer a wide range of benefits including: - Stable employment & growth opportunities - Training & evaluations at 30/60/90 days and annually - Quarterly Bonus Incentive Program - Uniforms at no cost to the employee - Referral Bonuses - Eligible for benefits the month following 60 days employment. - Medical offerings - including an HSA eligible plan with employer contributions - Dental - Vision - Disability - Company paid life - Voluntary life - 401k match the month following 6 months of employment
