External Description Str : Find your purpose with CentraCare by joining our Environmental Services team in Sauk Centre! The environmental service worker maintains environmental and infection control standards within established policies and procedures of the health care center. The position performs a variety of general cleaning tasks to maintain patient rooms, offices, hallways, and other assigned areas of the facility. Core Functions: - Completes all scheduled and special cleaning in all assigned rooms and public areas as scheduled. - Responsible for stripping, washing entire bed surface, including mattress, and remaking of assigned/discharged beds. - Cleans and disinfects all surfaces according to department policy. Pay and Benefits: - Base pay starts at $16.73/hour (Higher based on experience) Hours: - Casual; approximately one shift every week or two (as needed) - 6 am - 2:30 pm Additional Qualifications: - Maintains patient confidentiality. - Must function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity and ability to work effectively with patient and /or patient families, personnel, medical staff and general public.
