HHA/CNA - Home Care Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care activities such as bathing, grooming, toileting and dressing Perform simple procedures as an extension of therapy including but not limited to: passive range of motion, range of motion and home exercise programs under the direction/supervision of the Physical/Occupational Therapist or RN Assist clients with mobility such as ambulation, transfers and exercise Perform household tasks essential to the health and wellbeing of the client in their home including but not limited to: cleaning, shopping and cooking Assist in the administration of medications and treatments that are ordinarily self-administered under the direction and supervision of the RN Observe, report and document changes in client condition Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all fire, safety and weather procedures Document accurate start/stop times, mileage, incident reports and other documentation delegated by RN/Good Shepherd Policies and Procedures HHA/CNA - Home Care Benefits Competitive Wage 401K with Company Match Employee Referral Bonus Tuition Reimbursement Opportunities Qualifications HHA/CNA - Home Care Qualifications Must have successfully completed the 75-hour Nursing Assistant course- documentation must be provided Ability to effectively communicate both in written and verbal form in English Be able to work in a variety of client home settings with possible exposure to second hand smoke, pets and various cleaning chemicals Must be at least 18 years of age Keywords: Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA, Nursing Assistant Registered, NAR, Home Care, Home Health Aide, HHA, Caregiver, Personal Care Assistant, PCA, Geriatrics, Direct Support Professional, DSP, Resident Assistant, RA
