External Description Str : Find your purpose at CentraCare as a Health Unit Coordinator team member in the Center for Surgical Care! Schedule - 32-48 hours per 2-week pay period. Choose from either 5am-1:30pm or 9am-5:30pm, Monday through Friday As a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC), you serve a vital role in being the communication link for the unit. Responsibilities will include greeting and assisting patients/families, guests, and providers as well as managing telephone communications, organizing and maintaining patient charts, and performing clerical and receptionist duties to support patient care. Qualifications: - High School diploma or equivalent experience/knowledge required. - One year experience with office procedures and equipment with computer experience preferred. - Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
