Job Summary: - Implement best practice teaching and learning strategies into the content area. - Establish individual learner goals that reflect the mission and values. - Work collaboratively with department members and principal to support students' academic, social, and emotional growth. - Collaborate with other teachers to design and coordinate assessments and utilize data to target student needs. - Participate in regular PLC meetings as an active and engaged professional. - Communicate regularly with parents, colleagues, students, and administrators through all available means of technology. - Establish and maintain high standards for character growth. Qualifications: - Current Minnesota Teaching License in content area is required. - High level of content expertise required. - Demonstrated ability to support critical thinking in meaningful discourse in the content area. - Teaching experience preferred.
