Freelance Photo/Video Contractor Education Rhodes Branding is a K–12 education marketing agency seeking a freelance photographer/videographer based near St. Cloud, MN to support ongoing content production for client in the area. What You'll Be Doing On-site at two school campuses, you'll capture the everyday moments that make a school worth choosing — classrooms, events, athletics, staff, and community gatherings. Specific responsibilities include: -Bi-weekly on-site photography sessions (classrooms, events, student and staff portraits, athletics, extracurriculars) -Monthly video production — minimum 4 finished videos per month, including student spotlights, staff features, family testimonials, event recaps, and program highlights -Creating vertical/short-form social cuts (Reels, Shorts, TikTok-compatible) from longer video assets -Full editing of video content through the Adobe suite; photo editing and asset delivery -Coordinating shoot logistics and scheduling with core team -Delivering organized, properly named assets via shared drive on agreed timelines The Commitment -This is a part-time freelance/contractor engagement, estimated at 20–25 hours per month. Shoot days typically fall on weekdays during 7am-4pm; editing is flexible. The engagement is ongoing with potential to grow. Compensation -This is a part-time freelance/contractor engagement with a flat monthly retainer of $800–$1,200, scoped at approximately 20–25 hours per month. Retainer rate is determined based on experience and portfolio. Mileage reimbursement available for travel beyond 20 miles. Experience / Skills You're a Great Fit If You -Are based in or near St. Cloud, MN and available for regular weekday shoots -Have a portfolio demonstrating both photo and video work (education, community, or nonprofit clients a plus) -Can shoot, edit, and deliver polished content independently -Are comfortable working with diverse student and family populations -Have your own professional-grade equipment (camera body, lenses, basic lighting, audio) -Communicate reliably and hit deadlines
