Job description JOB SUMMARY: As the Finishing Line Operator, you will be responsible for applying various finishing techniques by blending and removing imperfections, polishing, and highlighting memorials with several hand and automatic tools. Hours: Flexible hours between Monday – Thursday: 5:00 AM – 2:00 PM & Friday: 5:00 AM – 11:00 AM. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: - Transferring memorials from the conveyor to the finishing booth - Removing excess paint from borders, sculpted designs, and small detailed emblems; various tools are used in this process - Brightening and antiquing bronze plates - Controlling the frequency drive to adjust the speed of the metal finishing wheel to avoid over-sanding and removal of pertinent details on letters and emblems - Polishing the radius on certain designs and patterns - Touching up paint on memorials with an airbrush - Cleaning memorials with a scrub brush and compressed air - Performing appropriate inspections to ensure quality standards are met - Scanning bar codes on work orders to record work performed into the JDE system - Inspecting each item to ensure it meets quality and tolerance standards - Adhering to all safety policies and protocol while maintaining a high level of performance WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO: - Has good eye-hand coordination - Is detail-oriented - Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: - Repetitive bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying of objects - Lifts to 50 lbs. occasionally - Stands for the entire shift - Wears protective safety shoes, safety glasses, earplugs, and latex/vinyl gloves Part Time Job summary Career Levels Entry Level Years of Experience < 1 Education Levels High School or equivalent Salary 18.93-22.72 About LAMB Labor Services Staffing Agency Company name LAMB Labor Services Contact name Len Gilmore Phone 320.266.3059 Email apply@lamblaborservices.com Website http://lamblaborservices.com Country United States State MN City Cold Spring
