Must identify a client's tastes, activities, body type, and desired image. - · Familiar with a wide variety of fashion styles for men and women - · Preps clothing and accessories as needed, such as steaming, etc. - · Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work - · Maintain a neat and organized wardrobe area - · Keep up to date with emerging fashion trends, styles, and designs; stay current on styles - · Develops professional, constructive, and cooperative working relationships with co-workers - Visit local clothing stores weekly to know what fashions are available for clients. Ideal fashion stylist would want to create short videos of clothing outfit ideas for us to share on our social media pages. This will help potential clients see your personality and styling methods - making them more likely to want you as their stylist. Qualifications and Education Requirements - Professional appearance and demeanor. - High School Diploma or GED. - Have passion for helping others look their best. - Must have experience helping customers choose clothing, such as in a retail clothing store. - Ability to choose appropriate fashion and accessory choices for a wide variety of clients. - Must be punctual. - Must be organized. Preferred Skills - Excellent listening skills - Ability to ask right questions to uncover client needs - Formal Image Consulting or Fashion training, or attended a cosmetology school. We do provide 100 hours of training before meeting with any clients. - Desire to have a career as a Personal Stylist Professional Additional Notes: This is a contract position. This means you will have flexibility to set your own schedule and your own session lengths and rates. This is a position that will give to you as much as you put in the effort and time.
