Details Posted: 02-Apr-24 Location: St. Cloud, Minnesota Salary: Open Internal Number: 2266 Location: St. Cloud Full/Part Time: Full Time Employment Condition: Unlimited Job Description: Examples of Duties: - Teach Instructional lecture and lab courses in Residential HVAC - Continuous curriculum development, including the design, revisions, and implementation of instructional materials and assessment of learner outcomes - Integration of assessment activities into teaching practices and participation in department and college-wide assessment of student learning - Support of the success and development of students through the use of a variety of instructional methods, both online and on campus, available office hours, and by providing additional resources - Development and implementation of on-campus, online and hybrid courses - Contribution into department decisions on budget, scheduling, textbook selection etc. - Participation in discipline, team, campus, and college matters through service on committees; attendance at regular meetings; and continued professional development - Support and advance the department and college mission through ideas and projects Required Qualifications: Educational Requirement - Diploma or the completion of an apprenticeship in heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration installation and repair. Occupational Experience Requirement - Four full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience in residential or commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration installation and repair. Recency Requirement - One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years. Demonstrated ability to teach and work with persons from minoritized, historically marginalized, and/or culturally diverse groups.
