Job Description ** This position is located in Luverne, MN. Relocation or commuting is required** JOB TITLE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR We’re looking to hire an experienced professional to join our team as the Executive Director at Kids Rock! Child Care Center in Luverne, MN. As Executive Director, you will: - Provide strategic direction and leadership for the opening of the new childcare center. - Oversee all day-to-day operations, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. - Manage staff development and create a positive work culture. - Build strong relationships with families and the community. - Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations. PAY - Starting Salary $58,000-$60,000 BENEFITS - Paid Time Off - Paid Holidays - Retirement - Health Insurance HOURS Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS - Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Services or a related field - Minimum of 3 years of management experience as a director in a child care setting, nonprofit organization or similar operation - Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching early childhood or serving as an assistant director in a child care setting or related field - Proven ability to manage and motivate a diverse team of staff - Strong knowledge child development principles and best practices in early childhood education - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Knowledge of licensing regulations and compliance requirements - Experience in budgeting and financial management - Basic knowledge of computers, technology, and its use - Passion for working with children and families - Ability to build positive relationships with parents and community partners ABOUT US Kids Rock!
