The City of St. Cloud is accepting applications for an Equipment Operator I within the Public Works/Sanitation Department. An ideal candidate for this position will have a Commercial Driver’s License, enjoy working outside on a variety of manual tasks, in various weather conditions, and promote a safety-first work environment. Work within the Sanitation Department include: Picking up residential garbage in an outdoor environment Yard waste pickup Shoveling snow (seasonally) With Public Works operations extending outside of conventional work schedules to meet the needs of the city, team members will work untraditional hours during snow and ice operations as well as during emergency maintenance activities. Candidates may also be chosen to work in the Street Division, where road, sidewalk and alley maintenance is conducted.
