Overview Coborn’s Inc. Print Services Team is hiring for their next Print Services Operator! The Print Services Team supports all areas of the Coborn’s business and as a Print Services Operator, you will provide REMARKABLE guest service and your printing knowledge, to meet their needs. You will have direct interactions with both the retail to non-retail areas of the business, including but not limited to Operations, Merchandising, HR and Marketing. With your guest services interactions, you must be able to perform the operation, set-up, printing, and maintenance of all equipment in Coborn’s in-house Print Services department. You also assist with managing inventory of paper stock and supplies and work with vendor partners to troubleshoot technical or print quality issues. Grocery retail is an exciting, progressing industry, so our team of experts are excited to teach and elevate your printing skills. Additionally, you will: Utilize digital printing machines and software programs to support them. Use digital printing equipment to print single and multi-color items such as ad items, sell sheets, forms, supplies, and special projects, with an emphasis on wide-format printing work.. Set-up, operate and maintain of bindery equipment and functions to efficiently and effectively fulfill orders. Including post press functions. Use and maintain prepress workflow and profiling to maintain exceptional color quality standards for each project delivered. Monitor quality to ensure and maintain an elevated level of quality in the work produced. Perform low level maintenance on all equipment and make any necessary repairs or replacement of parts to keep the equipment running efficiently. Provide customer service functions to customers and co-workers, job tracking and scheduling to ensure customer expectations are always met in relation to quality and deadlines. Work cooperatively with co-workers to efficiently schedule, utilize equipment, materials and time to meet deadlines. Requirements EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Associates Degree or equivalent relevant experience in a print shop or digital press environment. Demonstrate background in digital printing processes. Working knowledge of how to operate bindery equipment and digital printers with familiarity in wide-format printing equipement. Must be detail oriented, accurate and able to follow-through to exacting customer specifications. Ability to work independently and logically organize own work in a fast-paced environment to meet project deadlines.
