DIAMOND SAW OPERATOR

Cold Spring, MN Salary: $19.00+ Diamond Saw Operator Position Overview: A local Coldspring company wants a vital member to join their team! Are you mechanically inclined or familiar with granite fabrication? This could be the perfect fit for you! As a Diamond Saw Operator, you will be responsible for daily operation and maintenance of Diamond saws. Location: Coldspring, MN Schedule: Train on days for 3 weeks from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm. 1st shift, 2nd shift, Nights, and weekends available. Salary Range: $19+ per hour Key Responsibilities: - Program, operate, and maintain Diamond Saws. - Set up and operate machines following established procedures and guidelines. - Adjust machine settings to complete fabrication according to specifications accurately and efficiently. - Create, load, and run programs. - Load slabs and unload pieces, sometimes using an overhead crane. - Collaborate effectively with support staff and other team operators. - Perform routine TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and inspections of the machines. Requirements: - Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the entire shift. - Familiarity with or ability to learn WCam2K programming software (Diamond specific). - Basic PC skills, including Windows OS, are advantageous. - Ability to thrive in a shop environment. - Familiarity with basic granite fabrication processes. - Understanding of fabrication processes. - Ability to read shop tickets and apply patterns as necessary for accurate layout. - Training and experience with AutoCAD or willingness to learn.
