External Description Str : Job Summary: - This position is both a technical and lead position. - Coordinates and directs the overall day-to-day functions of the Ultrasound department. - Works with Administration, Providers, Department Supervisors, and Ultrasound Staff to render professional patient care with efficiency, empathy, and friendliness. - Serves as a technical and clinical ultrasound resource to CentraCare Clinic Sites and Obstetric and Women's Health Providers. - Approximately 90-95% of this position involves direct patient care as an Ultrasound Tech. (This percentage may vary pending Lead and patient care needs.) Qualifications: - Must have successfully completed formal training at an AIUM approved school and/or be registered by the ARDMS with credentials in OB/GYN and ABD. - Previous experience working with OB/GYN Ultrasound. - ARDMS OB/GYN and ABD credentials. - Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card. - Leadership, organization and human relations skills. - Office skills required include the ability to utilize computer and reporting functions and have electronic medical record skills/experience as well as electronic imaging experience.
