Rotochopper is seeking to add an energetic, motivated, self-starter to our team as a Demo Tech Specialist! The Demo Tech Specialist will perform product demonstrations and will be well versed and trained in the operation of all Rotochopper products. This position is expected to travel throughout North America for product demos, trade shows, and/or machine deliveries. The Demo Tech will report to the Logistics Manager and assist with over-the-road driver duties when not traveling for product demos and trade shows. Responsibilities - Conduct product demonstrations at customer sites domestically and/or internationally, as needed. - Work in conjunction with the Sales Department to ensure a seamless demonstration of Rotochopper’s product line. - Guarantee customer communication is top priority by being available, answering questions and building long lasting relationships. - Represent Rotochopper at trade shows where onsite equipment is required. - Act as backup for new machine delivery to customer sites, as needed. - Working knowledge of reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, or engineering instructions. - Conduct self in the presence of customers and community as to present a professional image of Rotochopper, Inc. - Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company work rules. - Employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, crouch, bend, work underneath equipment, reach above shoulders, and climb. Employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds unassisted. Qualifications - Must have a current Class A CDL and DOT health card, with a clean driving record. - Must be at least 21 years of age. - 1-2 years minimum of oversized driving experience. - Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization. - Demonstrate excellent work-ethic with self-motivation, ability to work safely with no supervision on customer job sites, while maintaining company and customer expectations of thoroughness and customer service. - Basic computer skills required using Microsoft Office Suite programs and file sharing. - Ability to read and follow intermediate measurements, schematics, and technical documentation. - Experience is highly preferred, but also accepting applicants with a willingness to learn and be a “jack of all trades.” - Must be willing and able to travel as needed, up to 75% of the time .
