External Description Str : The Customer Insights Manager role is responsible for providing break-through insights to help elevate the experience of advisors, end clients, and/or employees. This position will focus finding the story in the data, whether the data source is internal systems, secondary reports, or primary research, to help embed insights across the organization to drive business decisions, annual planning, and investment prioritization. This is a hybrid position, for one of our office locations: El Segundo, CA; San Diego, CA; Denver, CO; Des Moines, IA; St Cloud, MN; St Paul, MN; Schaumburg, IL; Atlanta, GA; Boca Raton, FL; Enfield, CT, Dallas, TX. What you will do: - Independently lead the analysis and research initiatives under the direction of the Director, Customer Insights & Analytics, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. - Spearhead the synthesis of disparate data from diverse sources, including internal systems, secondary reports, and primary research, utilizing advanced analytical techniques to distill complex information into actionable insights. This process is aimed at not only enhancing the advisor, end client, and employee experience but also illuminating compelling narratives that inform strategic decision-making. - Champion a culture of actionable insights by translating complex findings into clear and compelling narratives, facilitating informed decision-making, and investment prioritization across the organization. - Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization within departmental workflows and analyses, fostering efficiency and effectiveness in delivering insights. - Foster collaborative partnerships with the Voice of Customer (VoC) Team to offer comprehensive research viewpoints and recommendations, overseeing research vendors as necessary. - Cultivate robust relationships with stakeholders across various departments including Services, Technology, Marketing, HR, and community/channels, ensuring alignment and engagement in insight-driven initiatives. - Travel up to 10% What you need to have: - Ability to summarize complex findings clearly and concisely. - Strong conceptual, analytical, and creative thinker. - Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and lead through influence. - Ability to adapt easily to a changing environment and new opportunities. - Ability to prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities. - Presentation skills with the ability to clearly communicate and engage with a variety of audiences. - Hands-on experience with the Qualtrics survey platform is preferred. - Knowledge of financial industry and independent broker-dealers is preferred. - Experience with CRMs (Salesforce) is helpful but not required. What is nice to have: - Bachelor’s degree in business, Analytics/Data Science, Market Research, Psychology, Sociology or a related field or equivalent. - Intermediate-to-advanced hands-on experience with Excel - Minimum of 5 years’ experience integrating and manipulating large datasets from multiple sources. - Ability to synthesize large amounts of disparate data to identify and succinctly summarize the story. Compensation: The base annual salary range for this role is $100,00 to $120,00, plus a competitive performance-based bonus. Base annual salary depends on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location. Base annual salary may also differ significantly due to geography and cost of labor considerations. #LI-Hybrid
