Costume Designer – SMS Fall Musical

Position Type: Athletics/Activities Date Posted: 6/17/2026 Location: Sartell Middle School Closing Date: until filled Sartell Middle School 7th and 8th Grade Fall Musical - Costume Designer Job Description: Works with a group of students to: - Know the show and all characters (as well as each character's costume needs) - Measure all cast members for costumes - Research historical period of the production to ensure that costumes are time period appropriate - Find, make, buy all pieces - Oversee costime fittings and alterations - Collarborate with lighting designer, set designer, and set painter to achieve a cohesive color scheme - Organize costumes, dressing rooms, stage left, stage right, and all quick changes - Teach kids how to wear and use their costumes - Make sure everyone has the correct shoes for their costumes - Wash and store all costumes at strike Pay Schedule: Based on Extra-Curricular, Co-Curricular and Other Activity Assignments Schedule Application Procedure: Please use the Sartell-St. Stephen School District online application process at https://www.applitrack.com/sartell/onlineapp/default.asp Application Deadline: Open until filled Final job offer is contingent upon an approved criminal background check and board approval.
