HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT As a CNA or CDT, you are essential to CMMHC’s Detox program. Along with your Detox co-workers, you will work as a team to support and monitor our clients. The CNA-CDT provides ongoing support and supervision to clients. The Duties may include but are not limited to: - Physically observe clients, at minimum, twice hourly (more often if need arises), document observation on individual rounds sheets. - Launder client clothing, label, mark, and store appropriately. - Correctly Inventory client possessions and store in locked designated area following detox protocols - When delegated by nursing staff, transport clients following CMMHC’s protocol, to identified setting when appropriate. - Order client meals through contracted caterer. - Distribute catered meals to clients following infection control compliance. - Monitor and report to nursing staff any concerns with a client’s activities of daily living (ADLs) and behaviors. - Report any incidents, potential injuries, accidents, and potential property damage immediately to the designated nurse on duty and thoroughly complete appropriate incident/damage report form. - Respond to residents’ questions and concerns on an as needed basis. - Administers scheduled medications as ordered by the Medical Director or consulting physician. - Administers PRN medications as delegated by licensed nurse on duty. Job_requirement : WHAT YOU’LL NEED - High School Diploma or GED required. - Must be 18 years of age. - Maintain CPR and First Aid certification. - Clear DHS background study and sexual exploitations screening. - Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
