External Description Str : Find your purpose helping athletes heal in a clinic setting! This Certified Athletic Trainer will work directly with the patients and providers, help to cast/splint and assist with clinic procedures such as injections and reductions. You will also help to educate patients. Work is full-time; 80 hours every two weeks, day shifts between 7:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. If hired, you’ll help athletes prevent injury but when injuries do occur, you’ll assess, treat, and rehab those musculoskeletal injuries. That includes guiding patients through physical exams and post-operative procedures. Some other duties include: - Help athletes with durable medical equipment and brace fitting. - Administer gait training and other therapeutic exercise. - Work with your patients and their physician(s). Pay and Benefits: - Minimum pay is $23.46 per hour and increases with experience. - Eligible for like medical, dental, PTO, 401k, employee discounts and more! Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in athletic training or related field required; master’s degree preferred. - Certified Athletic Trainer required upon hire. - Current BLS required. - Experience in an athletic training setting is preferred.
