Position Summary: The Central Supply Clerk is responsible for maintaining the current inventory of supplies primarily for the nursing department at Guardian Angels Care Center. This may include impromptu ordering of supplies and devices for specific resident needs. Services are provided in accordance with the mission of Guardian Angels. Job Duties: - Purchasing, stocking, and maintaining current inventory supply to ensure quality services provided to residents of Guardian Angels Care Center. - Develop/maintain on-unit supply areas to facilitate efficient delivery of resident care. - Monitor supply usage, including expiration dating to determine cost-efficient ordering strategies. - To assist in providing a dignified, respectful, resident-centered environment for residents. - Follows universal precautions, facility infection control guidelines, sanitation and safety standards of practice in all work and activities. - All duties will be performed in accordance with current standards, guidelines, state and federal regulations. - Uphold confidential information as required by Guardian Angels policy and procedure and as related to HIPPA. Qualifications: - High school graduate or equivalent. - Previous inventory experience preferred. - Must have strong mathematical skills. - Excellent verbal and written (read, write) communication skills. - Self-motivated, ability to prioritize. - Computer proficiency is required.
