Description: Full-Time, 45+ hours per week Work Hours (5AM-3PM) The truck driver will perform a variety of routine and complex transportation work in driving and coordinating transportation plans in support of the Transportation Department. This driver my operate a tractor with a tanker trailer to pick up products at the supply points and deliver it to area facilities. The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: - Drive assigned Tractor/Tanker trailer to pick up propane/fuel and deliver to assigned facilities - Perform required daily vehicle inspections - Safety and efficiently transfer products between transport and bulk storage - Maintain DOT compliance - Performing routine inspection and preventive maintenance - Performing all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards - Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor Requirements: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES) - High School Diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience - One (1) year relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to do the job - Valid Class B State Driver’s License with HazMat and Tanker Endorsements - Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving - Ability to safely drive various vehicles - Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, supervisors and the general public - Ability to communicate effectively - Ability to work independently - Ability to perform heavy manual tasks under varying weather conditions - Ability to make independent judgments which have moderate impacts on the organization - Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds If you are a reliable and dedicated individual with a passion for customer service and technical expertise, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity as a CDL Class B Tankwagon driver.
