Position Description: The Business Systems Analyst II is a main owner and contributor to the administration, maintenance, and enhancement of business tools/systems, including but not limited to providing specialized technical and business knowledge to participate in corporate, initiatives, and projects. This role seeks to understand the business and participate in strategies for improvement through use of our tools and systems. Additionally, you will collaborate with Marco internal customers to participate in the definition of detailed technical requirements and system interfaces, assess available technologies, and develop and present solutions. This role is an internal consultant, providing technical guidance and business process expertise on projects and may contribute to planning matters from a technical or business standpoint. Main Responsibilities: - Contribute to the software enhancement life cycle including functional & risk analysis, prototyping, coding, systems testing, deployment, and support. - Collaborate with the Business Analyst team to gather requirements from end-users and other key stakeholders to ensure the existing tools or systems support Marco’s tactical and strategic activities. - Translate business requirements into technical specifications. - Formulate and define application scope and objectives. - Participate in business & end user testing for application development deployment (led by the BA team). - Develop and execute test scripts for upgrades & implementations. - Lead the deployment processes for assigned projects, including enhancements, upgrades & implementations. - Define, design, and facilitate business technical process improvement within the tools or systems. - Contribute to the execution of the product roadmap, in conjunction with the Office of the CTO. - Collaborate with the business to drive direction of tool or system use. - Partner with stakeholders and customers across the organization to inform of the product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization. - Engage and collaborate with the business to address business issues, to align vision and technology strategies and ensure tool and system capabilities are optimized for use. - Identify applicable technology alternatives to given business problems. - Be a primary source for the escalation of end user support and application administration, coordinating with BSAI/III, Platform Operations and IS Support when needed. - Identify cause and implement solutions to business problems, assessing and communicating issues of technology impact on the business. - Understand the procedures and expected system performance associated with the introduction of new information technologies, while seeking ways to collaborate with other IT members (BA, Development, DevOps) to facilitate transitions - Responsible for platform data quality and appropriate correctable actions. - Be a primary point of contact and escalation for tool/system vendors. - Participate in industry and application peer groups/advisory councils. - Facilitate training on applications and implementations. - Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of experience in related position. - Current high-level industry recognized certifications on applications including EAutomate Suite, ConnectWise Suite, Salesforce.com, Compass Sherpa, Microsoft SharePoint, OnBase or similar preferred. - Solid understanding of workflow and data relationships. - Troubleshooting, Analytical and Debugging skills. - Superior communication skills, working with technical and non-technical people and the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships among all levels of the organization. - Excellent organizational and time/task management skills. - Ability to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events. - Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. - Initiative – Be a self-starter. Don’t wait to be told what to do when you see a problem, however if you can’t resolve it yourself, use resources to find someone who can. - Technical aptitude with solid understanding of the co-relationship between technical tools and business process. - General knowledge of PSA, ERP and CRM applications preferred.
