POSITION TITLE: Online ShopperACCOUNTABLE TO: Customer Service Manager or Assistant Store DirectorCLASSIFICATION: UFCW Local 663RANGE OF PAY: $10 - $15.25 per hourSCHEDULE: Sunday - Saturday, varied hoursPRIMARY OBJECTIVEPrimary emphasis in this position is on shopping orders that have been submitted online and filling them with the freshest and best quality product available. When necessary, makes decisions on substitutions and communicating with customers who are not present in store with the goal of maximizing sales and customer satisfaction. Accurate processing of orders while maintaining positive customer relations is essential. This position requires ongoing positive customer interaction and providing prompt and courteous service. This position also requires ongoing social skills/verbal interaction, iPhone/iPad/scanner operation, lifting, walking and standing. Position functions and work hours may vary according to business needs. Daily assignments and work direction is provided by the Customer Service Manager, Assistant Store Director or E-Commerce Lead.ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS* Performs order fulfillment* Retrieve online order using a smartphone, and "shop" the store to fulfill customer's request using a scanner as product is placed in the cart* Completes assignments in allotted time* Ensure quality selection of product* Execute on completion times and order accuracy* Effective communication and coordination with other departments and store staff* Provide comparable products for substitution* Prepare orders by ringing up and bagging orders in an efficient and effective manner* Stage orders to prepare for customer pickupAssist customers when shopping* Greet, offer assistance, and thank customers* Answer or refer questions, and respond to customer requests as needed* Bring customers to location of item* Direct customer problems to management as appropriatePerforms runner function* Responsible for bringing orders to customer's vehicle in parking lot* Acknowledges customer's arrival in a timely manner via appropriate technology* Safely and promptly brings order and loads into customer vehicle* Uses greet, offer and thank to provide best in class customer servicePerforms clean-up of staging area* Picks up and organizes area used for processing and staging of orders including coolers, freezers and shelving along with register and floorMaintain food and groceries at proper temperature in accordance with food and safety standards to ensure food quality and customer satisfactionFollow all store and department policies and proceduresPerform other duties as assigned or delegateAmericans with Disabilities Act (ADA)Jerry's Enterprises, Inc. will provide reasonable accommodations (such as a qualified sign language interpreter or other personal assistance) with the application process upon your request as required to comply with applicable laws.
