External Description Str : Full-time, 80 hours every two weeks. Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. This Adult Outpatient Behavioral Health position will be located at CentraCare Plaza or Midsota Behavioral Health. *Ability for some remote work, in addition to onsite work. $6,000 sign-on bonus* for those hired into a Psychotherapist role (with current MN license of LP, LICSW, LMFT, or LPCC)! SUMMARY As a member of the primary care, behavioral health, or interdisciplinary treatment team provides assessment and treatment services for patients and families with behavioral health and/or medical needs. The psychotherapist provides diagnostic, psychological, or biopsychosocial evaluation and executes therapeutic treatment toward defined goals. The psychotherapist works to strengthen motivation and commitment to specific change goals through a collaborative, goal-oriented style of communication using motivational interviewing and evidence-based psychotherapy. Depending on the setting, the psychotherapist may coordinate discharge planning with patients and families. Provides clinical interventions to include individual, marital, couples, family and group therapy to outpatients. May assist in staff development through consultation, education and supervision as well as assist in program development when requested. PSYCHOLOGIST - PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology is required. - Minimum of one-year experience is required. - Completion of post-doc training year prior to start date preferred - Licensure by the State of Minnesota Board of Psychology as Licensed Psychologist (LP). PSYCHOTHERAPIST - Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or related Human Services field required. - Minimum of one-year experience is required. - State of Minnesota licensure required, need to have one of the following: - Licensed Psychologist (LP) with the MN Board of Psychology or - Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with the MN Board of Social Work or - Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with the MN Board of Marriage & Family Therapy or - Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with the MN Board of Behavioral Health & Therapy. ASSOCIATE PSYCHOTHERAPIST - Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or related Human Services field required. - State of Minnesota licensure required, need to have one of the following: - Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) or Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) with the MN Board of Social Work or - Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT) with the Board of Marriage and Family Therapy or - Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with the Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy. - Full MN licensure (LP, LICSW, LMFT or LPCC) for independent practice is required within 5 years. - Clinical internship experience relevant to the position is preferred. Requires successful compliance with Minnesota Law, Chapter 372 relating to sexual exploitation of patients by staff providing psychotherapy services. Nonviolent Crisis Intervention initial and on-going training (or equivalent) provided. * Sign-on bonus requirements : To be eligible for the sign-on bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position.
