A DAY IN THE LIFE - Supports Blattner's goal to be an industry leader by improving and implementing procedures and processes as directed. - Participates in discussions with members of Field Process Improvement, in person or via teleconference with market segments and departments regarding the development, implementation, and execution of standard construction work processes and lessons learned. - Supports the implementation of new or changed processes by communicating with all affected areas of the business and assisting with a smooth implementation. - Supports the understanding, adoption, and acceptance of Standard Work and other Field Process Improvement initiatives throughout the organization. - Assists with monitoring of compliance and knowledge with corporate Standard Work processes. Promotes understanding, and compliance through assessment, verification, and auditing. WHAT YOU’LL NEED - Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering (Industrial or Manufacturing), or related field; or equivalent combinations of education and experience. - Previous experience preferred, preferably in construction management, industrial engineering, quality, safety, electrical, or similar type role. WHAT WILL SET YOU APART - Technical writing experience and an understanding of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
