The Student Success Department at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University invites applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE), benefit eligible position of Associate Dean of Assessment. This position's start date is July 1, 2024. The Associate Dean of Assessment will design, implement, and manage assessment activities that inform program improvements and promote student success. The Associate Dean will be a leader in assessment best practices for the College of Saint Benedict (CSB) and Saint John s University (SJU), directing program review, general education assessment, and academic program assessment. The Associate Dean will conduct assessment data analysis and write assessment reports. The Associate Dean will manage academic program materials for Higher Learning Commission (HLC) accreditation processes and other program compliance and accreditation needs, where appropriate. Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage general education assessment including assessment scheduling, instrument design, data analysis, and writing assessment reports. Manage academic program review, including advising and supporting academic programs undergoing review. Lead assessment outreach and education to promote high quality assessment and program review activities. Promote continuous improvement of academic programs. Design and implement programming to improve general education student outcomes based on assessment results. Support program-specific accreditation work where appropriate. Serve as a key partner in institutional data governance efforts. Coordinate with key partners on institutional compliance activities. Serve as the Provost s designee as an ex-officio member of the Program Assessment Committee (PAC).
