Job Description Primary duties include teaching an introductory-level undergraduate lecture and laboratory course in either general, organic, or biochemistry (as per the candidate’s expertise); along with an upper-level inorganic chemistry course. Faculty are expected to teach effectively, conduct scholarly activities or research, continually prepare and study, contribute to student growth and development, and serve the department, university, and community. Instruct courses in varied locations and at varied times, in-person, online or hybrid and in either a semester or accelerated semester schedule. Required Qualifications - Ph.D. in Chemistry or related area by the start of Fall 2024 semester - Evidence of demonstrated ability to teach and work with persons from culturally diverse backgrounds Preferred Qualifications - Classroom and/or Laboratory teaching experience in an introductory chemistry area & upper level Inorganic Chemistry - Experience with innovative and research-based pedagogy - Experience with undergraduates involved in research projects Other Requirements Benefits Info
