We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Assembler on our first shift. In this role, you are responsible for assembling large-scale equipment and components ensuring each product meets our standards for quality and performance. Hours: 5:00am – 3:30pm, Monday – Thursday 5:00am – 11:00am, Friday ** Overtime may be required based on production needs. Flexibility to work additional hours when necessary is expected. RESPONSIBILITIES : Follow assembly instructions, processes, and procedures. Assemble machinery as instructed using a variety of hand and power tools and other equipment as needed. Position or align components for sub-assembly, assembly, manually or using hoists. Assemble mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components. Assemble equipment for final operation. Perform troubleshooting as needed. Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to Production Leadership. Must be present on the job to perform assigned duties and be able to work overtime as needed. Maintain a safe environment and have good housekeeping skills while working. Follow safety procedures including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). q UALIFICATIONS: Previous mechanical or production assembly experience is highly desirable Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of mechanical components and systems A bility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions Basic math and measurement skills (i.e., using tape measures, calipers) Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality Good communication skills, ability to work with little supervision, and ability to work in a team environment. Must be present on the job to safely perform the assigned duties. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift, push, pull or move up to 50 pounds. Be able to bend, stoop, and reach. Be able to climb up and down, as well as work using a ladder. Employee will go extended periods of time standing and performing repetitive tasks. The employee will also be required to stand; walk; use hand dexterity; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance, talk and hear. Work conditions include an industrial environment with moving equipment, manufacturing machines, and welders, along with overhead cranes. Rotochopper is an EOE employer.
