We are seeking candidates for Assembler roles on the 1st shift. Compensation for these contract opportunities is $17.00 per hour. Interested? Get more details below! What an Assembler will do: - Assemble fabricated parts into small subassemblies and/or complete units - Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, clips, rivets, or other fasteners using appropriate tools - Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials to assemble fans - Use hand tools and small power tools to assemble units - Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations - Inspect/verify assembled units to comply with quality standards and ensure the product is ready to ship to the customer - Report quality issues and errors in the production line and inform the supervisor of any shortages in parts or hardware - Maintain supplies by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies, and verifying receipt of supplies - Contribute to team effort by filling in as needed to complete tasks What you need to be an Assembler: - Previous assembly experience preferred - Able to follow written and verbal work instructions - Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds - Customer-oriented and works well with teams - Excellent Attendance - Mechanical aptitude - Comfortable doing work that is repetitive in nature Don’t miss out on this great role!
