AM/PM, Mid-Day Bus Driver

Special Requirements to Perform Job About Becker District/School:Becker Public School District is about 149 square miles and includes 4 schools that help support and educate approximately 2,800 students.Becker’s Transportation department is looking for a patient, caring and supportive individual who will be a positive team player while assisting safely within the transportation department. This position is for the employee to work each day while students are in school.Job Summary:Safely operate school buses while transporting district students to and from school.Conduct daily pre-trips for all type III vehicles for student transportation.Ability to clearly communicate and follow directions with district employees, students, and parents.Be a team player with the transportation department, and the district as a whole.Follow all school district policies as well as federal, state, and local laws.This position will be directed by the transportation office staff and will assist with routes and any other needs for the school district, as assigned. Hours:This is a 3 hour and 30 minute position for the am and pm route. Additional 1 hour 45 minutes for the mid-day route to the most senior bus driver per the contract, Monday through Friday during the school year.Start and end times will vary based on the needs of Becker Public Schools, and the route. Salary starting at $39 per route.
