As the Accounting Manager: As the Accounting Manager, you will oversee general ledger operations with accountability and hands-on involvement in all company accounting-related matters in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). You will serve as a lead technical expert in accounting compliance, processes, and internal controls and have full ownership of the GL, including overseeing all period-end close activities and leading the annual financial audits and tax return support. Additionally, you will lead a team in performing general accounting activities such as reporting, special projects, and initiatives for the company's multiple entities. You will effectively work with the Controller and all levels of leadership across the company to provide financial guidance and take an active role in special company projects, while living out Coborn's vision, mission and core values. Additionally, You Will: Lead all aspects of accounting functions for daily, monthly, and annual processes and timelines while working collaboratively across the accounting and finance departments to ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial statements. Work includes but is not limited to preparing and/or approve various entries and reconciliations, and P&L reviews. Oversee the preparation, analysis, and delivery of timely financial reports for leadership at both the support center and the retail locations; Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses as requested. Monitor data integrity for accurate and timely financial reporting. Partner with the accounting team leadership to develop policies, processes and internal controls for compliance, improved team efficiency and minimized risk across the organization. Conduct ongoing financial, operations, and compliance audits to ensure adherence with financial policies and procedures. Lead the annual financial audit and corporate tax processes, to include but not limited to the coordinating internal planning, prepare accurate audit and tax support schedules, reports and deliverables in a timely manner. Coordinate and facilitate the gathering of information from cross functional teams. Lead, participate and support various company projects and initiatives, including but not limited to system and process implementations, integrations, company acquisitions and location closings. Manage and maintain systems which that security, chart of accounts, fiscal year operating ledger close and all other accounting tables. Work closely as a liaison between IT department and accounting team to resolve system problems and issues. Partner with other accounting and finance leaders to develop and maintain framework for reporting and analysis.
