Get more details below! - Worksite Location: Becker, MN Accounting Manager Job Summary: The Accounting Manager will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of the company's financial activities. This position requires a combination of hands-on day-to-day accounting tasks as well as strategic financial planning and analysis. The Accounting Manager will lead a team of two accounting staff members and work closely with the executive team to drive financial decision-making and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. What you will do as the Accounting Manager: - Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements - Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management for strategic decision-making. - Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements - Lead the annual budgeting process and provide regular forecasts to management - Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor departmental budgets - Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements - Manage cash flow by monitoring daily cash balances and forecasting future cash needs - Develop strategies to optimize cash resources and minimize financial risk - Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, collections, and vendor management - Review aging reports and work with staff to ensure timely payment and collection of outstanding balances - Oversee payroll processing and ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations - Review payroll reports and reconcile payroll-related accounts - Mentor and develop accounting staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional growth What you will bring to the role as the Accounting Manager: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity - Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization - Proven leadership abilities with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams Take the first step on your new career path!
