This is a full-time benefits-eligible position in the Melrose office. This position will work closely with the parish administrator and the pastor. The ideal candidate would have an accounting degree or equivalent experience and be comfortable using accounting software and Excel. The primary responsibility would be to oversee financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations. There would be daily accounting tasks such as monthly financial reporting, general ledger entries, record payments and adjustments, and provide reports as needed.
