Job Duties 1.Regularly operate laser and/or punching machines2.Load and edit machine programs3.Load material in sheet bays4.Maintain cutting quality at acceptable feed rates5.Perform first part and random part inspections according to protocol on work order router6.Perform general laser maintenance, including startup/shutdown, window cleaning, nozzle centering, cleaning dust bins, replacing cutting beds, and keeping lasers and work environment clean7.Perform advanced maintenance, including window changing/focal depth, external optical path cleaning and realignment, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical repair8.Assures that all products conform to prescribed quality standards9.Handle assorted steel raw material and steel scrap10.Separate/"pick" parts from skeletons that are cut on the laser and stack onto pallet/containers11.Package parts using banding or shrink wrap, as needed12.Safely operate forklift to load and unload material and move completed parts13.Operate small hand and power tools14.Follow all standard safety regulations15.Support process improvement activities Minimum Education Required High School Diploma or equivalent2 Year Machine Tool or CNC Technical Degree preferred Minimum Experience Required 3+ Years Preferred Shift Second (Evening) Number of Openings 1 Public Transportation Accessible No Physical Required No Drug Test Required No Compensation $23.00 - $28.00 / Hourly Additional Compensation Quarterly Bonuses Postal Code 56362 Job Type Full Time Place of Work On-site Requisition ID 114 Job Benefits Health, Dental and Vision Insurance Company Paid Life Insurance HSA Match 401k Contribution PPE Reimbursements Tuition Reimbursement Program Employee Referral Bonus Accrued PTO Holiday Pay Bereavement Pay Bonuses
