Need 4 full time, temporary, seasonal Agricultural Equipment Operators to work in Elk River, MN. From: 03/01/2022 to 11/05/2022 Work: 40 hrs./week, Mon. - Fri. 8 hrs./day All work performed in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of time and a half. Must Apply By: 07/04/2022 NOTE: Due to system rules, this job order will close before the recruitment period elapses on 07/04/2022, however a new job order will be created and posted for the remainder of the recruitment period. JOB DUTIES: Employees will operate farm equipment to assist with preparing the fields before planting, seeding the fields, and harvesting sod. Additional duties include mowing and cleaning the fields, completing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, cleaning the workshop as needed, and completing general farm duties, as necessary. Haul sod to designated areas. Equipment includes tractors, mowers, and forklifts. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 3 months experience with job duties and equipment listed; able to lift 50 lbs.; valid Class D Driver's License; no minimum education required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $13.17 per day during travel to a maximum of $55.00 per day with receipts. Required tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
