VOLUNTEER PROGRAM ASSISTANT, St. Cloud Hospital

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for overseeing volunteers at assigned CentraCare entities. Assists Volunteer Program Specialist and Director of Volunteer Services in meeting objectives to implement a comprehensive volunteer program at assigned CentraCare entities. Supports and implements patient safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers. EDUCATION: - High School Diploma or GED High School Diploma or equivalent required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - 2 years Two years’ experience in health field, youth leadership and/or volunteer management preferred. - Supervisory experience preferred. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: - Excellent communication skills both orally and written required. - Basic computer skills essential. - Extensive experience with Microsoft Office and database software required.
