Doherty Career Solutions is partnering with a local Sartell, MN company as they look to add a Talent Acquisition/ Development Specialist to the growing team. The Talent Acquisition/Development Specialist will be integral to the company’s HR processes including recruitment, training & development, and other ad-hoc projects. The successful candidate must be detail-oriented and have the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines. REQUIREMENTS - Talent Acquisition: - Develop an organized approach for recruitment of entry level positions and mid-level management positions utilizing the most effective tools. - Develop and maintain ongoing and engaging diverse social media presence for the purposes of recruitment of external applicants. - Develop a company policy for talent assessment, benchmarking and interviews. - Represent the company at events and build a network. - Assist in developing and implementing a plan that incorporates effective tools to evaluate training and development needs in our organization and produces a plan to develop employees. - Manage recruitment process and internship program. - Manage job postings and provide qualified candidates to hiring managers. - Incorporate diversity & inclusion initiatives into the talent acquisition process. - Develop and continually improve the process of onboarding of new employees to help increase retention and morale. - Maintain good relations with past and potential candidates and a database for talent acquisition metrics. - Coordinate with the marketing department to build innovative strategies. - Training & Development: - Assist in creation of ongoing manager & employee training programs. - Deliver ongoing and regular career development programs as well as policy related training. - Incorporate proactive succession planning in the culture. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE - A Bachelor’s degree in HR or similar field of study. Minimum of 3 years of progressive broad-based HR experience. Professional certification is a plus. - Strong communication skills, analytical ability, and able to demonstrate a high level of confidentiality and discretion. - Relationship-oriented work style; ability to communicate effectively and build strong, highly effective relationships.
