We are currently looking for an individual to help us find our great people as a Talent Acquisition Specialist on the Human Resources team (every role is different, no high-volume recruiting!) Duties include but are not limited to: - Consults with leaders, hiring managers and the human resources team on position titles, position descriptions, requisition creation, compensation, and sourcing strategies. - Manages all phases of the recruitment process for both exempt and non-exempt positions at all locations within the organization. - Reviews all position specifications and recommends options for recruitment sources - Contacts referral sources to solicit and evaluate candidates by reviewing resumes and applications, conducts interviews, refers qualified candidates to appropriate staff members for further evaluation and extends offers of employment. - Works with managers to ensure that job descriptions, candidate profiles, Predictive Index profiles and other tools are created and up to date. - Actively recruits for key future positions at all locations. Maintains a database of qualified candidates and cultivates relationships prior to the positions being available. - Develops and executes progressive, integrated recruitment solutions using direct sourcing, industry networking, employee referrals, internet sourcing, job fairs and college programs. - Responsible for the execution of recruitment and partnering with community leaders to ensure the selection of the best and brightest talent. - Builds relationships with colleges, vocational / technical schools, and other feeder organizations of talent. - Prepares reports documenting recruitment activity and effectiveness. Prepares and provides weekly recruiting status updates to active hiring managers. - Assists with management and maintenance of company Applicant Tracking System to ensure positive user experience and integration with other HR and company systems. - Supports and assists with the early onboarding process, which includes new hire orientation, for all employees at all locations and ensures they have the foundation needed to succeed. - Effectively performs all talent acquisition activities, such as resume and phone screens, candidate interviews, and recommends selection of applicants. - Arranges pre-employment testing, background check, drug screening, and other pre hire activities. What makes you a good fit? - Four-year degree in Human Resources or related field - 2 years of Human Resources, talent acquisition and interviewing experience preferred - Experience with Corporate recruiting and local networking a plus - Strong understanding of staffing principles, laws, and procedures and solid working knowledge of recruitment/employment programs. - Demonstrated knowledge of various recruiting techniques, and experience in online/social media recruiting.
