Nexus-Kindred Family Healing has an exciting opportunity for a full–time Supervised Visitation Program Supervisor to join our team in our Waite Park office. The Supervised Visitation Program Supervisor will be responsible for: - Provide daily consultation, supervision and oversight to the Supervised Visitation Program. - Participate in the selection, training, ongoing development and performance evaluation of assigned staff. - Coordinate all tasks required to meet the needs of counties and families receiving services from the Supervised Visitation Program. - Maintain all required documentation and records within established guidelines and deadlines (e.g. visitation summaries, Parent Coaching Service Plans, Therapeutic case notes, etc.) - Participate in program staff and supervision meetings, in-service offerings, and support NKD and Nexus philosophy and mission. - Adhere to HIPAA requirements with regard to client, and foster, adoptive and biological families. - Perform other job related responsibilities, tasks and projects as needed and/or requested of the position. Education, Credentials and Experience: - Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy or other related field. - Knowledge of family based philosophy and practice is required. Prefer experience in related community based work, working with families, youth, and trauma exposed children and adolescents. - Valid driver’s license required. Must meet state regulating agency driving requirements and pass corporate insurance eligibility standards. - Must be able to meet and remain current in all required certifications/licensures. Physical Demands: - Must be able to walk, sit, stand, crouch, twist, bend, reach, maneuver stairs and stretch in a manner conducive to the execution of daily activities. - Must be able to spend time driving to client visitation locations and transporting clients as needed. If agency leased vehicle is unavailable, must be able to transport client using one's own vehicle. - Excellent sensory skills are important (sight, hearing and speech) as well as the ability to communicate effectively. - Repetitive use of hands is required for writing, typing and/or data entry.
