- Position Type: Support Staff/ Paraprofessional - Date Posted: 4/4/2024 - Location: Multiple Buildings - Closing Date: until filled SPED Paraprofessional - Extended School Year (multiple openings) Multiple Buildings/Grade Levels Approx. 4 hours/day; between 7:30am-12:00pm (actual time may vary based on transportation) Range IV (starting wage $17.77/hour) Dates June 10-14, 17-21, 24-28 *No school June 19th Locations PK: Oak Ridge Early Learning Center K-5: Pine Meadow Primary School 6-12: Sartell High School Summary: The Special Education Paraprofessionals provide assistance, under classroom teacher direction, to students identified with special needs by helping them stay on task, complete assignments, maintain acceptable behavior, and function in daily living and job skills. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. High School diploma 2. Acceptance of students' disabilities and limitations. 3. Must be able to lift, pull, or move a minimum of 50 pounds. 4. Accepts direction from supervising teacher(s) and is willing to work as a team. Note: The successful candidate must be able to perform all the essential functions of the position.
