Job Description Full-time, 72 hours/pay period Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30a-4:00p or 8:00a-4:30p JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for providing scheduling support to department. Participates in the coordination of clinic activity through the processing of physician orders, and performing patient scheduling duties to support patient care staff to achieve the hospital mission. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers. EDUCATION: - High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required. EXPERIENCE: - 1 years experience or equivalent knowledge/skills required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Post high school secretarial training preferred. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: - Must demonstrate excellent communicative skills. - Typing 50 wpm. - Working knowledge of computers and general office equipment.
