Software Engineer Remote Primary Responsibilities: ???Perform all phases of software engineering including requirements analysis, application design, code development and testing ???Design and implement performance and operational enhancements ???Design reusable components, frameworks and libraries ???Review code and provide feedback relative to best practices and improving performance ???Troubleshoot production support issues post-deployment and come up with solutions as require ???Participate in an Agile/Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releases every 2 weeks through Sprints ???Designs, codes, tests, debug, and documents software, and enhance existing components to ensure that software meets business needs ???Contribute to the design and architecture to enable secure, scalable, and maintainable software and should be able to clearly articulate the implications of design/architectural decisions, issues and plans to technology leadership ???Conduct design and code reviews to ensure code developed meets coding best practices guidelines, unit testing, security, and scalability and maintainability guidelines ???Participate in on-call Dev-Ops support rotation Required: - 3+ years of using Java in a professional setting - 1-2 years of working with API testing and Microservices - 3+ years of working with SQL - Experience with one or more ORM technologies (such as Hibernate, JPA, or similar) Preferred: - Experience with Spring framework Experience with APIs/microservices Experience with automated unit testing technologies (such as JUnit, Spock, or similar) - Four year degree in computer science or equivalent experience Four year degree in computer science or equivalent experience Eight Eleven Group provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, citizenship, disability, genetic information, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, amnesty or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
