A Day in the Life The Global Senior Product Manager for the DBS implantable system will work cross-functionally with global, upstream and regional marketing teams, supply chain, operations, regulatory, and finance to execute product phase in and phase out, track and communicate key performance indicators, and execute product lifecycle management initiatives in alignment with business and portfolio strategies. This role will be a key contributor to the Brain Modulation integrated business planning (IBP) team and partner closely with the IBP teams across the Neuromodulation businesses to meet the Neuromodulation Operating Unit business objectives. - Work directly with the Global Marketing Director to gather, assess, and present key data inputs into the integrated business planning (IBP) process - Work directly with global product managers and regional marketers to drive phase in and phase out plans and scenario planning to inform demand, supply and financials - Partner with other businesses within the Neuroscience portfolio and the IBP Center of Excellence to identify, share and implement IBP best practices - Build therapy, product, and market level competence for informed decision-making as relevant to effective portfolio management - Ability to travel ~10% of the time, primarily domestically Must Have: Minimum Requirements To be considered for this role, please ensure the minimum requirements listed below are evident on your resume. - Requires a Bachelors and minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience Preferred Qualifications: - Product lifecycle or product management experience - Data analytics, forecasting and market trending - Effective presentation skills - Desire to learn basic therapy and product details of a highly technical product category - Good verbal and written communication skills - Ability to influence and collaborate with peers and cross-functional partners and navigate in a matrixed environmentNice to Have About Medtronic Together, we can change healthcare worldwide.
