Job Description The Moody's Analytics' RFS Banking EA Delivery Services department is looking for an intern for at minimum a six month internship. The RFS Banking EA Delivery Services team is responsible for supporting our clients to implement the Moody’s Analytics Risk Foundation and Banking Cloud suite of enterprise solutions to their requirements. To this end, we provide a combination of the solution, business domain & project management competency to our clients’ stated objectives at various stages of the entreprise solution lifecycle (“project”). As part of the implementation activities, MA consultants assist our clients to feed risk systems data into the MA software, through an activity referred to as Data Mapping as relevant to clients’ scope of analytics. Objective of internship: Prepare / enhance set of data mapping documentation for new clients implementation, providing a standardised data feed. - Model financial instruments into MA Software DATA tables in a consistent manner according to scope of analytics - Asset & Liability Management (ALM) - Credit Risk RWA analytics (CR) - Market Risk RWA analytics (MR) - Regulatory Liquidity Risk (LR), with or without Cashflows generation - Regulatory Reporting in particular related to the European jurisdiction - Define structure/format to facilitate extraction of information when upgrading client from a start version to a target version, as well as when a client adds a new analytics module - Serve as framework to communicate MA software data requirements to our clients The internship will provide the intern with a keener understanding of financial risk management domain analytics and related data requirements, as well as exposure to general industry practices related to risk management systems. Qualifications - Studying towards a Master’s level degree in: - Computer science degree, or - Business degree with technical IT / coding (simply SQL) proficiency, or - Engineering degree with Finance option - Analytical mindset, with a keen sense of data and ease with data manipulation techniques & tools (Excel, Access, …) - General understanding of IT services, project / program management concepts - Fluency in English is required and fluency in French is a plus - Comfortable with general professional productivity software (MS-Office, Outlook, …) - Understanding of financial services industry, particularly banking and industry software solutions would be advantageous Moody’s is an equal opportunity employer.
