Job Description Job Overview: The Quality Team lead is responsible for supporting all Quality Compliance systems. This role must perform fact-based audits and assessments against records, procedures, processes, packaging, and equipment for compliance to internal, Federal, State, and other regulatory standards. Responsibilities & Duties: - Backup to the Quality Manger. - Provides leadership in all quality systems and audits - Assists in record, procedure, process, and equipment reviews for compliance to all Federal, State, and other regulatory requirements. - Assists in the development of new quality systems - Acts as a leader for managing issues with product composition, attributes, or complaints - Leads training in quality awareness, GMPs, and product knowledge to improve consistency and efficiency in our operation. - Audits quality systems for compliance and effectiveness and makes recommendations for correction or improvement. - Analysis of quantity control in the facility - Audits formulas to ensure all information is correct and current. - Works with R&D to ensure timely implementation of new or revised products and processes by reviewing proposed specifications and procedures - Manages all label changes - Vacation coverage for the lab - Perform any other duties as assigned in a safe and timely manner - Needs to be HACCP Certified. - Authorized to release product. - Has access/proper authorization to use ARC, Agile, SAP, Intelex, EQMS/Sharesite, label view, RS vis ware, Quality sites, process Op, External laboratory web results. Minimum Qualifications: - Ability to effectively communicate with managers and fellow team members - Working knowledge of Microsoft office - Ability to tolerate varying temperatures, lift 55+ lbs and stand for extended periods of time.
